GYMSTARS Gymnastics

Ballet & Jazz    (ages 4-6 ratio 8:1)   (ages 7-11 ratio 12:1)                          1 hr class

· Introduces beginning dance vocabulary, develop music appreciation, ignite power and excitement of imagination, remove inhibitions and social blocks, builds self confidence

· 30 min of Ballet (ballet technique, positions)

· 30 min of Jazz (jazz technique, turns, leaps, etc.)

· Must wear pink ballet shoes, pink or black leotard with tights

Jazz & Hip Hop    (ages 5-9 ratio 10:1)   (ages 7-11 ratio 12:1)                    1 hr class

· Introduces beginning dance vocabulary, develop music appreciation, ignite power and excitement of imagination, remove inhibitions and social blocks, builds self confidence

· 30 min of Jazz (jazz technique, turns, leaps, etc.)

· 30 min of Hip Hop (teaches rhythm and isolation of movement)

· Must wear black jazz shoes, pink or black leotard with Capri pants

Ballet & Cheer    (ages 5-9 ratio 10:1)                                                             1 hr class

· Introduces beginning dance vocabulary, develop music appreciation, ignite power and excitement of imagination, remove inhibitions and social blocks, builds self confidence

· 30 min of Ballet (ballet technique, positions)

· 30 min of cheer (motions, dance, jumps, tumbling, stunting)

· Must wear pink ballet shoes, pink or black leotard with tights for ballet portion, shorts over the leotard and clean soled tennis shoes must be worn for the cheer portion

Cheer & Hip Hop    (ages 6-10 ratio 10:1)                                                      1 hr class

· Introduces beginning dance vocabulary, develop music appreciation, ignite power and excitement of imagination, remove inhibitions and social blocks, builds self confidence

· 30 min of cheer (motions, dance, jumps, tumbling, stunting)

· 30 min of Hip Hop (teaches rhythm and isolation of movement)

· Must wear cleaned soled tennis shoes, pink or black leotard with Capri pants or shorts

Jazz & Tumbling    (ages 3-5 ratio 8:1)     (ages 6-10 ratio 10:1)                1 hr class

· Introduces beginning dance vocabulary, develop music appreciation, ignite power and excitement of imagination, remove inhibitions and social blocks, builds self confidence

· 30 min of Jazz (jazz technique, turns, leaps, etc.)

· 30 min of Tumbling (teaches forward and backward rolls, handstands, Cartwheels, bridges, walkovers)

· Must wear black jazz shoes, pink or black leotard with Capri pants, jazz shoes will be taken off for tumbling portion
